This 2015 Grammy-nominated arrangement, was recorded by the Pete McGuinness Jazz Orchestra on Strength In Numbers' (Summit Records). The original Stephen Foster waltz is refitted here as a medium-bright tempo samba in 4/4 time. The 1st alto has an optional double on soprano, and solos are included for piano and alto/soprano sax.
